Thank you once again for facilitating such an engaging and inspiring workshop for our team. It was truly apleasure having you with us.
Our staff came away feeling deeply motivated and energized, which speaks volumes about the space youcreated during the session. At our school, we place a strong emphasis on the well-being and joy of our staff, and your workshop aligned beautifully with that goal.
We’re also so grateful for the photos you shared — we realized we’ve never had a group picture of our entireteam before, and thanks to you, we now have that special memory captured.

Katherine’s presentation on Cultural Felt Safety was both enlightening and deeply relevant. She spoke with clarity and warmth, making complex ideas about emotional, psychological, and social well-being accessible and actionable. Her message emphasized the power of cultural awareness in shaping spaces where people feel truly seen and supported. I walked away not only with a deeper understanding but also with a renewed commitment to fostering inclusivity in meaningful ways.

I want to express my sincere gratitude for this fantastic opportunity to participate in the "Resilience-Sí Coaching Beta Program." I am incredibly thankful for every single session; each one was very interesting, and I learned something valuable from all of them! New perspectives opened up before me, often ones I hadn't even considered before.
I particularly appreciated how you brought your own concrete examples from your life into each meeting. This was truly inspiring and very helpful for me as a participant. It was also a great idea that you asked about my relevant stories and how I experience certain situations or apply what was discussed in my own life. This made the sessions very personal and relatable.
The structure of each session was concise and clearly understandable. I liked that at the end of every occasion, you summarized what had been covered in a few sentences, and the follow-up emails with the summaries were an excellent idea. These were very useful, allowing me to re-read and reflect on the content of each session.
Thank you again for everything! ♥️

Bringing Katherine Thompson, LPC-S, to UHCL for a fireside chat was an incredible experience for our campus community. As President of the Latino Student Association, I was honored to welcome Katherine to campus and shed light on the importance of mental health, especially in communities where these discussions are often overlooked.
Katherine’s warmth and expertise created an open and very engaging dialogue where students, staff, and faculty felt truly seen and heard. She shared valuable strategies for managing stress, building resilience, and prioritizing self-care in both our academic and personal lives. The Q&A session had all of us asking for advice, and Katherine made it so easy to open up, fostering a space where we felt safe, heard, and genuinely supported. Her ability to break down complex mental health topics into relatable and actionable insights left a lasting impression on everyone who attended.
It was truly inspiring to see our community come together for such an important conversation. Katherine’s dedication to breaking mental health stigmas and empowering individuals to seek support made this event not just informative but transformative. We are incredibly grateful for her time and insight, and we look forward to continuing these vital conversations across our UH System.

As a new LPC Associate starting a private practice, I would recommend Katherine and Spero Psychological Services to any master’s student starting the licensing process or LPC Associate in need of supervision. Katherine worked with me from the start, guiding me through the licensing process, assisting me with a seamless transition into private practice. Katherine's expertise, in both clinical supervision and marketing, was critical to my growth as a therapist.
