I had a nice experience with Certification for Laravel. The questions were good, and the overall process was satisfactory. However, I would have appreciated having a list of certified developers or a special link to share on LinkedIn. Despite this, I would recommend it to others.

(As of Dec. 2024 there will be an online credentialing platform with access, a badge, (digital) certificate, personal link and QR code that can be shared as verification)

The proces went fluently. From buying to starting to completing (and passing :-) ) the exam. Had some questions on forehand and got reply real quickly. The questions were at a senior Laravel developer level. I actually had fun making the exam!

I did my last PHP-related certification in 2010 (Zend Certified Engineer) but never stopped working with PHP. Since Laravel version 8, I have used it on my side projects, but unfortunately, not in my main job. Still, this gave me enough confidence to go for the exam. I did some prep and revisited topics I rarely use, and I passed! The exam process was smooth, and the testing platform was easy to use. On the prep exam, I got distracted too often and clicked on WhatsApp thrice, so the exam got locked. Be careful and close your WhatsApp and all other distractions before you start. Overall, it was an excellent opportunity to look into concepts I do not use often, and I recommend it to anyone working with Laravel.
