There were two most profound moments for me:

The first was the evening tea ceremony. Holding a cup of fresh rosebuds, which felt like a treasure, I realized there are precious things meant for me and only me. They already exist for me, waiting for me. I don’t need to compete with anyone or rush to claim them.

The second was sitting in the middle of the circle, receiving compliments. I was bullied in high school because I hung out with boys and acted differently. And in rural areas like where I’m from, people like me—people with special powers—are mocked, insulted, rumored about, or even have things thrown at them. I was terrified but did my best to hide my feelings because I didn’t want my parents to hurt more. So, to receive kind words—even admiration—was surreal. It was amazing, overwhelming, and numbing all at once. It took me a few days to fully let myself believe that I had truly received compliments for being who I am.

Attending Business Freedom Retreat was the firsts of many for me. Monthly live events like the Group Coaching sessions and Mastermind sessions are “must-attend” events for me, where I draw crucial coaching gems or get my questions answered by Milena.

Freedom Business Retreat was a life-changing experience for me.

Although I knew for sure I'd want to attend very early on—6 months prior to the retreat—I couldn't help feeling on edge right before the retreat. As someone who hasn't allowed a lot of help into my life, someone who thought she'd need to do everything alone to succeed, it could be scary to arrive at a place full of support.

And "a place full of unconditional support and understanding" would be the description I'd give to the retreat experience!
