I came to the Board of Trade 8 years ago, because a friend of mine recommended I come with her to an event. I was looking to expand my social circle and my professional circle and thought it would be a great place to start. I was so happy to see a lot of friendly welcoming faces and I realized they were interested in getting to know me as a person, not just my business. Not only did I make many meaningful connections and friendship through those events but I also acquired some of my best clients ( through member referrals) and I also met my husband there!

If you are looking to expand your circle personally and professionally the board of trade is an excellent place to start. I believe in it so much I am now on the board of directors there, which continues to open doors of possibility for me.

The amount of education that is available to us is second to none. I have been connected to many via The Ajax Pickering Board of Trade. Being a Past President and Chair was a very valuable experience. Giving back to your community means a lot to me.

Becoming a member of APBT, was one of the best decisions, that i have made as a woman and as a business owner.
The staff and other members, make you feel like you belong to their small family.
There is encouragement, recognition, support, information, research, anything that i may be in need of, i can go to them, and they go out of their way to assist.
