Participating in the 14-Day UI Design Laws Challenge by Mastry, guided by Rohan Mishra, was an incredibly valuable learning experience for me.

Before joining the challenge, I knew the basics of UI design, but I often made design decisions based on intuition rather than solid principles. Over these 14 days, I learned how powerful design laws can be in creating intuitive and user-friendly experiences.

The challenge helped me understand concepts like Hick's Law, Miller's Law, the Zeigarnik Effect, Serial Position Effect, Peak-End Rule, and many other psychological principles that directly influence user behaviour. More importantly, I learned how to apply these laws in real design problems instead of just understanding them theoretically

What I loved most about this challenge was that it wasn't about copying designs—it was about understanding why a design works. I honestly didn't expect this challenge to push my thinking so much. Every redesign made me apply multiple UX laws together, which wasn't easy, but it made every design feel intentional and truly my own. Applying each UX law while remembering the previous ones was definitely challenging, but that's what made it so rewarding. It helped me think more critically, design with purpose, and create work that truly felt like my own. It was fun, practical, and amazing for my growth as a designer. This wasn't just another design challenge—it taught me how to think like a UX designer. Every screen pushed me to justify my decisions using design psychology, and by the end, I felt much more confident in my design process. A truly rewarding experience.

The 14-Day UI/UX Design Laws Challenge was an incredibly valuable learning experience. The challenge broke down complex design principles into simple, practical lessons that were easy to understand and apply. Each day introduced a new design law with real-world examples, making it easier to see how these concepts influence everyday digital products.
What I appreciated most was the structured, hands-on approach. Instead of just learning theory, I was encouraged to analyze interfaces and think critically about design decisions, which strengthened my problem-solving skills as a designer.
I walked away with a much stronger understanding of fundamental UX principles and greater confidence in applying them to my own projects. I would highly recommend this challenge to anyone looking to build a solid foundation in UI/UX design, whether you're just starting out or looking to sharpen your existing skills.

Completing the 14 Days of UX Laws Challenge has been one of the most rewarding learning experiences in my design journey. Instead of just reading about UX principles, I challenged myself to apply them by redesigning real-world interfaces every single day.

Each challenge pushed me to think beyond aesthetics and focus on the psychology behind user behavior. From reducing cognitive load with Hick's Law to creating memorable experiences with the Peak-End Rule and simplifying complexity through Tesler's Law, every redesign strengthened my ability to make intentional design decisions.

What started as a daily exercise became a habit of observation, iteration, and storytelling through design. I learned that great UX isn't about adding more features, it's about removing friction, guiding attention, and designing experiences that feel effortless.

This challenge also helped me improve my visual design skills, present my work more effectively, and build confidence in explaining the rationale behind every design choice. Looking back at Day 1 and comparing it to Day 14, I can clearly see my growth not just as a UI designer, but as a UX thinker.

To anyone looking to sharpen their product design skills, I highly recommend taking on a structured challenge like this. Consistent practice, combined with real-world application, is one of the fastest ways to grow.

This wasn't just a 14-day challenge; it was 14 days of learning how to design with empathy, purpose, and intention.

This challenge has taught me a great deal about UX law and how to identify and address legal issues in user experience. It has been one of the best experiences for deepening my understanding of the law. Over the course of 14 days, I learned a significant amount. "Taking part in the 14-Day UI/UX Challenge by Mastry was genuinely one of the most rewarding design experiences I've had recently. Committing to a daily challenge for two weeks straight pushed me to stay consistent in a way that's often hard to manage on my own having a structured plan each day kept me accountable and motivated to show up and put in the work.
Beyond just consistency, the challenge helped me sharpen my practical design skills in a very hands-on way. Each day built on the last, so by the end of the two weeks, I could genuinely see how much my speed, decision-making, and attention to detail had improved.
What stood out to me the most, though, was how much it deepened my understanding of core UX laws things like Hick's Law, Fitts's Law, and the Law of Proximity and how they actually apply to real-world design problems rather than just staying theoretical concepts. It completely changed the way I approach layouts, spacing, and user flows now.
Overall, this challenge was the perfect mix of structure, consistency, and learning. I'd highly recommend it to anyone beginner or experienced who wants to build better design habits while strengthening their UX fundamentals."

A big thank you to Rohan Mishra for explaining every concept in such a simple and engaging manner. The real-world examples, assignments, and detailed explanations made it easy to understand and apply each law in practice.

This challenge has improved my design thinking, sharpened my ability to evaluate interfaces, and given me more confidence in creating user-centered designs. I'm grateful for the knowledge, guidance, and motivation throughout these 14 days.

Thank you for such an amazing learning journey. I highly recommend this challenge to anyone who wants to strengthen their design fundamentals and grow as a UI/UX designer.

This was one of the most productive 14 days I have come across. This challenge has brushed up my skills of UX fundamentals. These laws might seem basic but play a pivotal role in design thinking which normally designers tend to overlook. Brushing up these skills with a hands-on approach really guides us to a practical way of problem solving with Design Thinking, and since there is a deadline, there is accountability which is pretty important.

I look forward to more of such challenges in the future.

I had a very pleasant and heartwarming experience alongside very interesting and engaging one. I was not only able to just redesign or rework on my design skills, but through the laws taught throughout the challenge, I got to know more about the design aspects , and I would try to implement these laws in other design fields as well.

A very thoughtfully designed UX challenge I’ve participated in. The daily prompts encouraged me to go beyond visual redesigns and apply cognitive psychology principles to real product interfaces.

I especially appreciated that each challenge focused on the reasoning behind design decisions rather than just aesthetics, and accompanying explanations of the same. It pushed me to think more critically about user behaviour, decision-making, and interaction design.

Overall, it was a valuable learning experience, and I look forward to participating in future challenges.
