We hired Just Smile for our wedding reception in April 2025 and definitely made the right choice!

The lighting and dancefloor provided were great.

From a DJ perspective, having access to the Just Smile portal to submit our choice of songs to play during the wedding reception was a great feature.

The photobooth was a hit with guests, the props were great and we loved the array of photos!

Special thanks to Jesse for his prompt responses to our queries and for managing the photobooth on the wedding day.

Special thanks also to DJ Dan for arriving at the wedding venue early and keeping the party going through to midnight!

Thank you also to the technicians for setting up all the equipment prior to the wedding reception and disassembling after the party had finished!

My wife and I have used Smile Events ourselves and been to several functions where they were used for all different reasons, i.e. weddings, birthday parties, anniversary parties, to name but a few. We have always found them to be experienced and professional and would not hesitate in recommending them for all age groups.

These guys are AMAZING! They are so helpful and have many options for every possible budget. We have used them for lots different occasions from my kid nieces birthday party, to my sisters wedding and a few other birthday parties and other family events. They are always smart and reliable and tailor the service to the particular event we are holding. I would recommend anyone to book them for their function no matter what you are celebrating!

We used Just Smile for a large fireworks display and they were excellent. The crew were really helpful with great equipment...and we will be using again!

We really loved the Magic Selfie Mirror! It provided such fun and some excellent photographs of the event. Tim, the operator, was very friendly and helpful to all our guests and gave them all photos on the night and a whole bunch of them to us at the end to keep. Several people have also since used the free download option to keep/share their favourites. I would thoroughly recommend as an addition to a party.

I would like to say a BIG 'thank you' to Just Smile for organising the disco and extra lighting at my wedding on New Years Eve. DJ John kept the party going into the small hours and we were sad when it was the last song! Everyone was singing and dancing their hearts out, what a truely magical night! Thank you so much John.

Worked with Timothy at Just Smile to set up a variety of different services for my wedding and reception. Everyone was great, including the DJ and the photobooth attendant that were on site the day of the wedding. There was a lot of communication from everyone prior to the big day, and we were able to provide all of the information, including the playlist of songs, up front. Everything was set up just right to add the right amount of beauty to the event!

Just Smile Team were great - listened to what we wanted and came up with a fabulous solution - very practical and flexible for last minute adjustments. Team were lovely couldn't recommend them enough!

We used Smile for our 25th wedding anniversary. Music is very important to us - and we found we had a very knowledgeable DJ (John) for whom nothing was too much trouble. On the night he was friendly, professional and so many people commented to us about how good the music was! - in the main because John had taken the trouble to judge the age and taste of our guests perfectly!!

Our wedding was on the 28th Dec at The Parcel yard in Kings Cross station... David was our DJ and was just wonderful. You played brilliant music and every thing was so easy and professional. Thank you so much for making our wedding so memorable. All our guest have commented on how good the music was. We wanted a really good party atmosphere and you provided this 100%

We used Smile for a wedding. We were looking for a simple package - just the DJ and lighting. The website was very easy to use to upload the tracks that you wanted/didn't want. You can really tailor make your event with this system. We needed to include some music from the groom's native country and this was achieved quite simply and the D handled it well. His style was good - making dedications etc but never trying to be the star or getting us doing anything cheesy. People were up and dancing for 5 hours - young and old. Great memories.

We can't thank you enough for making our evening reception so fantastic. Everyone loved the music that was played and David was more than happy to take requests from our guests (no matter how cheesy!). The up lighting, provided by Smile Events, around the room really set a wonderful ambience for the evening. The disco lights were also very impressive.

David and his team were very easy to work with and helped make our son and daughter in laws wedding the success it was. They were professional friendly and understood our wishes. We had Paul Weeks play at our party last night and he went above and beyond to make it a special event. He read the room well, played all the requests and really made an effort, especially when our daughter was feeling out of sorts towards the end of the evening, he let her mix a few tracks and do some singing on the microphone!

We hired DJ John Kennedy via Just Smile for our Wedding. As a DJ myself I knew what I wanted from a wedding DJ. John exceeded my expectations, his initial contact over the phone was professional, friendly and he really listened to what we wanted. John really did go out of is way to help on the day to make sure it was perfect for us.

His equipment was smart, modern and professional. He read our mixed family crowd and played the perfect set that kept people dancing all night. We have had tons of friends and family comment on how good the DJ was.

My husband and I got married on 24th June 2023 at Pendley Manor. Just Smile were on their recommended suppliers list and we could see why. Daniel was our DJ for the day and he always had a smile on his face. We already had a list of song requests for the evening, however he would take further request from our guests which kept them all on the dance floor. Everyone had a great time and commented afterwards about how good he was. I will be recommending Just Smile to all my friends and family looking for a DJ.

As a small independent DJ, I've used Just Smile for 10 years now, whether that be hiring a small set of DJ lights for a party, right up to them managing the entire AV for a music festival we organised. He was so friendly, supportive and created fantastic varied playlists for all the different parts to our special day. Just Smile were great. We have used them for the Town Hall of our function. They have provided and set up the AV equipment for a great price. They were professional, very helpful and efficient. Manager Tim and the team did a great job and I am hoping to work with them again in the future
