We had a great weekend with friends at John's. The house is even better than in the photos. The bus stop 5 minutes away takes us to the center of Dublin (1 hour) a bus line also goes to the airport. The house is quiet but in the center of Ratoath full of restaurants, nearby businesses.
We were welcomed like kings. The rooms were spacious, the bedding spotless and the cleaning as well.
I recommend this place without a second thought.

John and Alice were lovely hosts and very helpful nothing was too much trouble. We were there for my daughters 18th birthday and they left us a few bottles of bubble and they even put in a balloon arch with 18th birthday balloons. Such thoughtful hosts. Highly recommend a stay in this house.

Just back from a stay in Glebewood house with my extended family. The house is amazing, felt right at home, everything you need on your doorstep but it also felt so private and secluded. Amazing hosts, would highly recommend.

The place is exactly like on the photos, spotlessly clean. Everything worked as should. The house is comfortable and spacious. The host was very helpful, responsive and friendly. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it to anyone considering it! Thank you so much.

Glebewood House completely exceeded my expectations, as did the wonderful hosts. The house is absolutely stunning and it’s clear a lot of love and effort has been put into making sure guests have a great time. We were celebrating a birthday and had a party of 16 and there was more than enough space and amenities in the house for us all. From the games room, to the home gym, to the sauna and hot tub, there really is something for everyone.

The location is really convenient too given there are bus stops that go into Dublin city centre just a 3 minute walk away. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance too.

The hosts had kindly drawn up a guide which provided detailed information about how to use each appliance in the house which was so helpful. The guide also included the locations of all the nearby shops, restaurants and takeaways, making it so easy for us to find our way around. Everything in the house was spotless.

On top of all that, the hosts also left two complimentary bottles of wine for us which was so thoughtful and generous. Overall, our stay at Glebewood House was everything I could have hoped for and more. I would highly recommend this beautiful home for your next stay.

I had the pleasure of staying in Glebewood house as a group of 22, booked in for a hen party. From our first communication John was a dream to deal with. He gave us quick replies, with lots of super info on both the house and the surrounding area. I booked the house thinking that it looked great and would be a lovely space to spend a weekend, with some great pubs and restaurants close by.
When I arrived to the house I realised that the house is actually even better in reality than the pictures show. It was warm, super spacious, extremely comfy beds and with every facility we could possibly need. John and Holly had gone above and beyond even decorating the master bedroom for the brides arrival. When the other guests arrived they all remarked at how amazing the house was and how perfect it was for a hen party. Over the course of the weekend we used every room, enjoying having to space to mix things up and have different activities in different areas. We used Ivan the bus driver recommended by John to bring us for a night out in Navan and Ivan was also perfect to deal with.
I couldn't recommend a stay in Glebewood house more, its a fabulous house to make great memories in!

Yes, we had a wonderful time. The house was unbelievable, perfect for our large group. The hot tub and sauna were a real treat and it was so handy being so close to the shops etc in Ratoath. The bedrooms were so nice and the whole house was so quiet and felt secluded! We will definitely stay again.

Just back from weekend trip to Glebewood house for my 40th birthday! The house exceeded expectations and pictures don’t do it justice. It was perfect for our weekend away and had all the amenities we needed. Jacuzzi and pool were amazing! House was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. Great location just a short walk to shops and restaurants. We visited La Buca Italian and food was excellent and great service. John and Irene were wonderful hosts, John walked us through the house and was only a phone call away if we needed anything. They also left us 2 bottles of wine which was lovely. We hope to book again for my friends hen party and can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommended to any one for any occasion! Thanks again John and Irene

I would like to thank Glebewood house for the use of their absolutely beautiful home for the past two days for my sisters Hen party. Since the moment we arrived we had a very warm welcome from John the host that took me through the entire house showing me where everything was and how to use it all. This house had absolutely everything we needed in it to make the two days filled with fun! the hot tub was an absolute DREAM!!!! I would highly suggest this elegant stunning house for any type of event.

I honestly cannot rate this house highly enough. From the brilliant correspondence during the booking process, to the hospitality of the catering, make up and transport partners, it has exceeded expectations beginning to end. The house is truly wonderful, lots of space for large groups and immaculately clean. The beds are really comfortable and they have literally thought of everything to make it feel home from home. All of our group were blown away by the house and the beautiful town it is located in. 100% recommend and will return

Wow! We had the most incredible weekend at Glebewood House for a Hen weekend. The house is just perfect and exceeded all expectations - it is beautifully decorated, equipped with everything(!!) you could possibly think of and so spacious. It looked incredible from the photos we had seen but it was so much more amazing in person.

John & Irene were so lovely and really made us feel welcome in their home. They gave us a run through of everything we needed to know but were also really quick to answer any questions I had via WhatsApp over the weekend.

As a big group of girls it was amazing that every room had its own en-suite, plenty of towels & mirrors and there so many nice touches throughout the house like make-up wipes by each bed!

The house is in a really secure area and is so close to Dublin airport and city centre which made it really easy to get to/from.

We came to Gleebewood for my sisters hen party and I couldn’t recommend it enough, the house facilities were amazing so clean and the attention to detail was phenomenal. John was absolutely brilliant and very helpful,I couldn’t reccomend him enough even recommending caterers for breakfast and dinner which was fantastic. The house is fully fit with cutlery and utensils so all you don’t need to bring anything! Perfect location and in walking distance of shops and pubs. I will definitely be back again to Gleebewood house

I couldn’t recommend Glebewood House enough 🤍 From the guided tour on arrival to the detailed house manual that answered every question, everything was so well thought out. The house was spotless, warm and fully stocked - toiletries, hangers, towels - nothing was overlooked. The owners were so friendly and helpful, and it was absolutely perfect for Rachel’s hen party of 15. Honestly couldn’t fault a single thing - such an amazing place to stay! Everyone loved it. What an amazing weekend celebrating my brothers birthday at the 📍Glebewood house in, Co Meath. This house fits up to 22 people and is absolutely ideal for a family get together. Glebewood house absolutely exceeded our expectations. There was so much to do in the house that we didn’t want to leave it at all. The house and garden area is out of this world. Our group had a ball and we genuinely felt like we were in another country. The beds were so comfortable and the detail throughout the house made it extra special. Glebewood is amazing. stayed there for 2 nights with a group of 16 international nurses and we had a fabulous time.the house is massive and was beyond our expectations. Make up room that is every girls dream.the bedrooms 10/10. Weather was lovely and enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi.

We stayed at Glebewood House for two nights to celebrate our friend’s stag do with a group of 13, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The house was spacious, stylish, and had everything we needed for a memorable weekend.

There was a fantastic hot tub, a large party room where we kicked things off with a pilates class and later transformed it into a cocktail party space. The glam room made getting ready feel like a luxury experience, and the large dining room was ideal for our group meals. Every bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy.

The location was ideal—peaceful yet just a short walk to shops and restaurants, which made things super convenient.

A huge shoutout to our host John, who was so lovely and welcoming. He honestly couldn’t do enough for us—always helpful and available if we needed anything, which made the whole experience even better.

From the 1st moment arriving to enter into the house, it was beyond our expectations, the pictures don't do this beautiful home justice.

Myself and partner and a group of friends stayed 2 nights at John & Irene's house. It was luxurious, secluded, and peaceful even though it is in the centre of town.

The hot tub was a huge attraction and because the weather was so mild, outdoors was were we all gathered most of the time.

It is an expansive house, with lots of space to gather with friends or alone with your thoughts.

The beautiful lounge with its tall ceilings and beams was just perfect for drinks and chats with a bit of singing thrown in.

The girls had a wonderful time doing each other's make up in the beauty palour, which is a huge benefit to this house.

The hosts were so accommodatingand even left us 2 bottles of welcome wine, and once they checked us in and showed us around, they left us to it, but did say they were only a stones throw away should we need them, which we didn't.

We cannot wait to go back next year, and we are already discussing dates.
Can't recommend this house enough with plenty of space for any gathering.
