Went out spring turkey hunting this past weekend for the for my first hunt with TTO, and even though the birds didn’t want to play ball, I still had an absolute blast and got the chance to stalk a hog and bring home some fresh pork for the freezer.

Adrian and I had a hen come just about within arm’s reach, calling away and giving us a free lesson on how the hens call in a tom. An unforgettable experience I’ll be forever grateful for.

Captain Dwayne was extremely responsive, attentive, informative, and hospitable from start to finish. My guide Adrian was knowledgeable, helpful, and gave it his all trying to get me a bird. Great guide and even better guy. Anthony got me on the pigs and set me up for a clean shot. Another expert and great person to have around. Christy kept us well fed with excellent meals that made the lodge feel like home after long days in the woods.

The whole TTO crew made it feel more like a family trip than an outfitter. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend TTO to anyone looking to get out in nature and chase some game.

I found TTO through bookyourhunt.com and had a good and timely phone conversation with Dwayne that led us to a turkey hunt this past weekend. The lodging and food was exceptional. My guide Adrian was awesome. Me and Adrian did not find success but I felt like he gave everything he had given the tough weather conditions. We had a couple very close calls and a lot of laughs and fun. If you need a guide I would definitely recommend Adrian

The TTO staff are great people, Cpt Duane is a good person to keep everything together, Deats was my guide and knowledgeable about hunting properties and worked really hard to get game in front of me. Adrian was my buddy’s guide not only knowledgeable about the property put in the extra effort after being whooped by a turkey kept him in the game with encouragement and my buddy was able to take a very special bird!
Christy is a full time school teacher and a very good cook, she made sure we were always fed and kept us in line!
Last, but not least Garret is the property owner that shares his land with us to enjoy God’s creation and can put you on a pig in only a way he can!

I was grateful to be guided by one of Capt. Dwayne’s Turkey guides Adrain for a Rio Grande. What a hell of a job they did setting me up for an amazing Rio Grande Harvest on a Saturday morning. This guided hunt was my first and it surely won’t be my last with Totally Texas Outdoors!

Had a good time, had chances to kill birds even with bad weather. Food and guides were all great

We took a 3 day turkey trip in April of 2025 and weather was really tough. Dwayne and his crew (Adrian) provided nice blinds to get out of the rain and wind. We hunted hard and saw a good amount of birds. I was fortunate to take a beautiful Rio that put on a show. The hospitality and meals were also fantastic. Thank y’all.
